1919 – A Scotland international cap embroidered “S v W 1919”. The label inside reads “F.A. Lumley, Athletic Outfitters, 82 Sauchiehall Street, Presented by Glasgow Rangers FC”.

In 1919, the Welsh FA organised matches against the other home countries as part of the WWI “Victory Celebrations”. These were known as the “Victory Internationals” and as they were not “official” matches, no international caps were awarded by the SFA. Therefore, Rangers commissioned their own caps for Rangers players who represented their country. Unfortunately, the Scotland v Wales match never went ahead due to no suitable date being agreed.

12th February 1921 – Scotland jersey worn by Rangers player Andy Cunningham in the British Home Championship match against Wales at Pittodrie in front of a crowd of 20,824. Scotland won the match 2-1. Provenance from Christies Auctions.

17th April 1937 – A Scotland International cap embroidered “S v E 1936-37”, awarded to Rangers player George Brown for the British Home Championship match against England at Hampden in front of a crowd of 149,547. Scotland won the match 3-1.

21st April 1962 – Rangers shirt worn by Ronnie McKinnon in the Scottish Cup Final against St. Mirren at Hampden in front of a crowd of 127,940. Rangers won the match 2-0. Provenance from Football Sport Auctions, December 2013.

15th November 1981 – Rangers shirt worn by Derek Johnstone in Colin Jackson’s testimonial match against Everton at Ibrox in front of a crowd of 25,000. Rangers won the match 3-1. Provenance from Great Western Auctions, September 2016.

25th March 1984 – Rangers shirt worn by Jimmy Nicoll in the Scottish League Cup final against Celtic at Hampden in front of a crowd of 66,639. Rangers won the match 3-2 after extra time. Provenance from Great Western Auctions, September 2016.
