2nd October 1890 – John McPherson – Edinburgh International Exhibition Tournament winners medal presented to John McPherson after Rangers defeated Sunderland Albion 5-1 in the final of the Edinburgh International Exhibition Tournament in front of a crowd of 6,000. John McPherson scored 2 goals in the match, along with a hat-trick from Neil Kerr.


21st November 1896 – Neil Gibson – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 15ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to Neil Gibson after Rangers defeated Celtic (2-1) in a replay at First Cathkin Park, Glasgow in front of a crowd of 15,000. Rangers goals were scored by P. Turnbull (2).



20th March 1897 – Thomas Pollock Low – Scottish Cup winners medal. 15ct gold medal awarded to T.P. Low after Rangers defeated Dumbarton (5-1) at Second Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 15,000. Rangers goals were scored by J. Miller (2), T. Hyslop, J. McPherson and A. Smith.


26th March 1898 – John McPherson – Scottish Cup winners medal. 15ct gold medal awarded to J. McPherson after Rangers defeated Kilmarnock (2-0) at Second Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 14,000. Rangers goals were scored by A. Smith and R. Hamilton.


26th March 1898 – Alex Smith – Scottish Cup winners medal. 15ct gold medal awarded to A. Smith after Rangers defeated Kilmarnock (2-0) at Second Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 14,000. Rangers goals were scored by A. Smith and R. Hamilton.


February 1900 – Neil Gibson – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to Neil Gibson at the end of the 1899-1900 season.



12th May 1900 – Jock Drummond – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 15ct gold medal awarded to J. Drummond after Rangers defeated Celtic (5-1) at Second Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 15,000. Rangers goals were scored by J. Campbell, N. Gibson, R. Hamilton, J. Miller and a B. Battles own goal.


26th October 1901 – Nicol Smith – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 15ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to Nicol Smith after Rangers drew with Celtic (2-2) at Ibrox Stadium in front of a crowd of 40,000. Rangers goals were scored by F. Speedie and J. Wilkie. Rangers were awarded the trophy after Celtic refused to play a replay at Ibrox Stadium.



25th April 1903 – Neil Gibson – Scottish Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to Neil Gibson after Rangers defeated Hearts (2-0) in a replay at Celtic Park in front of a crowd of 35,000. Rangers goals were scored by A. Mackie and R. Hamilton.


14th May 1904 – Alex Smith – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to A. Smith after Rangers defeated Celtic (5-2) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 26,000. Rangers goals were scored by J.T. Robertson (2), A. Mackie, C. Donaghy and F. Speedie.


14th May 1904 – James Stark – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to J. Stark after Rangers defeated Celtic (5-2) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 26,000. Rangers goals were scored by J.T. Robertson (2), A. Mackie, C. Donaghy and F. Speedie.


April 1909 – James Stark – SFA – Scotland v England & Ireland. 15ct gold medal awarded to James Stark for playing in two British Home Championship matches in 1909. Stark captained Scotland on both occasions, a 5-0 win against Ireland at Ibrox Stadium in front a crowd of 23,000 on 15th March, and a 2-0 defeat against England at Crystal Palace, London in front of a crowd of 40,000 on 3rd April.


June 1910 – James Wilson (Trainer) – Ibrox Park Football Tournament 9ct goal medal.


May 1912 – Robert G. Campbell – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 15ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to Robert G. Campbell at the end of the 1911-12 season.



May 1913 – John Robertson – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 15ct gold medal awarded to J. Robertson at the end of the 1912-13 season.



May 1918 – James Blair – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to J. Blair at the end of the 1917-18 season.


3rd May 1919 – David McLean – Everton v Rangers. Solid silver medal awarded to D. McLean for scoring a ‘Hat-Trick’ in the 4-3 defeat to Everton in a benefit match for St. Dunstan Hospital for Blinded Servicemen in front of a crowd of 20,000.


May 1920 – Robert Manderson – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to R. Manderson at the end of the 1919-20 season.


1st October 1921 – David Meiklejohn – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to D. Meiklejohn after Rangers defeated Celtic (1-0) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 76,828. D. Meiklejohn scored the only goal of the game.


13th May 1922 – Alan Morton – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to A.L. Morton after Rangers defeated Queen’s Park (3-1) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 43,000. S. Archibald scored a ‘Hat-Trick’ for Rangers.


13th May 1922 – William Robb – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation case awarded to W. Robb after Rangers defeated Queen’s Park (3-1) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 43,000. S. Archibald scored a ‘Hat-Trick’ for Rangers.



4th October 1922 – Alan Morton – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to A.L. Morton after Rangers defeated Clyde (1-0) in a replay at Celtic Park in front of a crowd of 30,000. The date of 30th September on the medal refers to the first match played at Celtic Park which ended in a 0-0 draw. W. McCandless scored the only goal in the replay. Further, the front of the medal wrongly states the it is for the Glasgow Charity Cup.



May 1923 – William Robb – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to W. Robb at the end of the 1922-23 season.


1923 – James Kilpatrick – Second XI Scottish Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to J. Kilpatrick after a two leg final against Airdrieonians resulted in a 1-1 draw at Broomfield and a 3-0 win for Rangers at Ibrox Stadium.


May 1924 – Arthur Dixon – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to A. Dixon at the end of the 1923-24 season.


16th May 1925 – Alexander (Sandy) Archibald – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to Alexander Archibald after Rangers defeated Clyde (1-0) in the final played at Hampden in front of a crowd of 15,756. G. Henderson scored for Rangers.



May 1925 – Alan Morton – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to A.L. Morton at the end of the 1924-25 season. It is inscribed ‘A.L. Morton’ on the rim.



May 1927 – Alan Morton – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to A.L. Morton at the end of the 1926-27 season.


May 1927 – Tommy Muirhead – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to T. Muirhead at the end of the 1926-27 season.


July 1927 – Thomas Craig – SFA Tour of Canada medal. 10ct gold medal awarded to players who went on the SFA Tour of Canada in 1927. Thomas ‘Tully’ Craig was one of five Rangers players included in the 18-man squad that played 20 matches between 24th May and 15th July. The SFA squad won 19 matches and lost 1. Thomas Craig played in 11 of the matches and scored 3 goals.


12th May 1928 – Thomas Craig – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to T. Craig after Rangers defeated Queen’s Park (3-1) at Celtic Park in front of a crowd of 27,000. Rangers goals were scored by S. Archibald, J. Fleming and a W. Wiseman own goal.


May 1928 – Thomas Craig – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to T. Craig at the end of the 1927-28 season.


16th October 1929 – Tommy Muirhead – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to T. Muirhead after Rangers defeated Celtic (4-0) in a replay at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 41,500. Rangers goals were scored by J. Fleming (3) and S. Archibald.


16th April 1930 – Thomas Craig – Scottish Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to T. Craig after Rangers defeated Partick Thistle (2-1) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 103,688. Rangers goals were scored by J. Marshall and T. Craig.


10th May 1930 – Thomas Craig – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation case awarded to T. Craig after a 2-2 draw with Celtic at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 35,467, Rangers won the toss of a coin to lift the trophy. Rangers goals were scored by J. Marshall and J. Fleming.



10th May 1930 – Tommy Muirhead – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to T. Muirhead after a 2-2 draw with Celtic at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 35,467, Rangers won the toss of a coin to lift the trophy. Rangers goals were scored by J. Marshall and J. Fleming. Muirhead did not play in the final but was awarded a medal for playing in a previous round.


May 1930 – James Kerr (Trainer) – Rangers F.C Record Year ‘Clean Sweep’ medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation case awarded to J. Kerr (the Rangers Trainer) at the end of a record breaking season where the club won all competitions entered.



9th May 1931 – George Brown – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation case awarded to G. Brown after Rangers defeated Queen’s Park (2-1) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 26,000. Rangers goals were scored by J. Smith and J. Marshall.



May 1931 – Thomas Craig – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to T. Craig at the end of the 1931-32 season.



10th October 1931 – Alan Morton – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation box awarded to A.L. Morton after Rangers defeated Queen’s Park (3-0) at Ibrox Stadium in front of a crowd of 50,376. Rangers goals were scored by J. Smith, B. McPhail and a T.M. Harvey own goal. It is inscribed ‘Won by A.L. Morton’ on the rim.



21st April 1934 – Arthur Dixon – Scottish Cup winners medal. 14ct gold medal awarded to Rangers Trainer Arthur Dixon after Rangers defeated St. Mirren (5-0) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 113,403. Rangers goals were scored by Nicholson (2), McPhail, Main, and Smith.


12th May 1934 – George Brown – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to G. Brown after Rangers defeated Celtic (1-0) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 35,000. B. Main was the scorer for Rangers.


May 1935 – Alex Venters – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to A. Venters at the end of the 1934-35 season.


18th April 1936 – Unknown player – Scottish Cup winners medal. 14ct gold medal awarded to an unknown player after Rangers defeated Third Lanark (1-0) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 88,859. Rangers goal was scored by B. McPhail.


11th November 1936 – Archie McAuley – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal in original presentation case awarded to A. McAuley after Rangers defeated Partick Thistle (6-1) in a replay at Ibrox Stadium in front of a crowd of 15,000. Rangers goals were scored by J. Smith (3), B. McPhail, B. Main and D. Kinnear.

15th June 1946 – Sammy Cox – Victory Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to S. Cox after Rangers defeated Hibernian (3-1) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 100,000. Rangers goals were scored by J. Duncanson (2) and T. Gillick.


29th September 1948 – George Young – Scottish Football League – SFL V FL of Ireland. 9ct gold medal awarded to G. Young for representing the Scottish Football League in a 5-1 win over the Football League of Ireland at Ibrox Stadium in front of a crowd of 57,600.


10th October 1956 – Bobby Shearer – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to R. Shearer after Rangers defeated Clyde (2-0) at Ibrox Stadium in front of a crowd of 28,000. Rangers goals were scored by M. Murray and J. Hubbard.


10th October 1956 – Eric Caldow – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to E. Caldow after Rangers defeated Clyde (2-0) at Ibrox Stadium in front of a crowd of 28,000. Rangers goals were scored by M. Murray and J. Hubbard.


6th May 1957 – Bobby Shearer – Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to R. Shearer after Rangers defeated Queen’s Park (2-1) at Ibrox Stadium in front of a crowd of 20,000. Rangers goals were scored by R. Morrison and D. Kitchenbrand.


May 1957 – Bobby Shearer – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to R. Shearer at the end of the 1956-57 season.


May 1959 – Eric Caldow – Scottish League Championship winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to E. Caldow at the end of the 1958-59 season.


28th September 1959 – Alex Scott – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to A. Scott after Rangers defeated Partick Thistle (2-1) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 38,807. Rangers goals were scored by S. Baird and A. Scott.


28th September 1959 – Willie Telfer – Glasgow Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to W. Telfer after Rangers defeated Partick Thistle (2-1) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 38,807. Rangers goals were scored by S. Baird and A. Scott.


29th October 1960 – Bobby Shearer – Scottish League Cup winners medal. 9ct medal awarded to R. Shearer after Rangers defeated Kilmarnock (2-0) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 82,063. Rangers goals were scored by R. Brand and A. Scott.


21st April 1962 – Bobby Shearer – Scottish Cup winners medal. 9ct gold medal awarded to R. Shearer after Rangers defeated St. Mirren (2-0) at Hampden Park in front of a crowd of 127,940. Rangers goals were scored by R. Brand and D. Wilson.
