Programmes (1920 – 1929)

8th October 1927 – Single page programme/team sheet issued for the Glasgow Cup Final between Rangers & Celtic played at Hampden in front of a crowd of 84,536. Rangers lost the match 2-1, with the Rangers goal being scored by Cunningham.

With no evidence to support that this programme/team sheet was distributed as a supplement to that day’s issue of the Glasgow Weekly Herald, it is thought that the programmes/team sheets were distributed to fans either before, or on entering, Hampden Park for the match.

1st January 1929 – The first programme ever produced by the club for the Scottish League match between Rangers & Celtic, played at Ibrox in front of a crowd of 60,000. Rangers won the match 3-0 with goals from Fleming (2) & Archibald.
